Jacky trained at The Guildford School of Acting and is a well-established actress, voice over and voice director and is passionate about radio and voice acting.
Her radio career began as a member of the BBC World Service Radio Rep and has played in many BBC Schools radio programmes, quickly developing into the world of commercial radio and TV, documentaries and animations. Jacky is the current voice of the ‘Hello Fresh’ TV ad’s and plays Vee in Season 6 of the animation ‘Chuggington’ currently airing on CBeebies, which she also directs.
Having worked in theatres in London, regional Reps and UK and International tours, her credits include The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, The Merchant of Venice, Blithe Spirit, An Awfully Big Adventure, Taking Steps, The Canterbury Tales and Under Milk Wood. TV and Film include The Thirteenth Tale with Olivia Colman (BBC2), Trying Again (Sky), Jonathan Miller’s The Beggar’s Opera (BBC2). She was a Playdays presenter for BBC1 in the 90s and performed in 3 series for Channel 4’s Get Up, Stand Up.
She set up her company Kidztalk in 2002, directing young voices for TV and radio projects. This progressed into specialising in voice direction for all forms of audio projects.
