I’m originally from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland but have lived in Edinburgh for the last 20 years. This geographical change has blended my Invernesian accent with an Edinburgh one, creating a more generic Scottish accent, though I can bring out the Invernesian when necessary.
Blessed with a relatively youthful voice, I’ve been voicing young Scottish voiceover scripts for far longer than I probably should have. Previous clients include The Bank of Scotland, Abrdn Investments, The Scottish Government, The Electoral Commission, and the Co-op. I’m also an experienced sound engineer, so I know both sides of the glass, which I believe gives me a better understanding of direction within a session.
