Originally from Calcutta, India, Rup chose to go into the entertainment industry after experiencing the joys of having performed on stage in local theater as early as his teenage years. Always fascinated with various types of entertainment, he became attracted to the production side as well. This led him to move to Los Angeles, where he currently resides and also works as a sound engineer for voice overs, video games, music and dubbing. As a result, he is very comfortable whether he is in front of a microphone or behind the speakers and truly understands what goes into the entire voiceover process.
