Born in São Paulo Gabriela Toloi spent her childhood surrounded by music and arts. Her teenage years took her creative background and saw her focus it into acting, first starting out in local musical theatre groups.
Gabriela later travelled to New York to perfect her English and to take a musical theatre course at the New York Film Academy. Back in São Paulo she learnt fluent Spanish and received her professional Brazilian actors’ permit. Alongside her studies in Wolf Maya Acting School and in the University of São Paulo (studying a BA of Performing Arts in Theatre Interpretation), she has appeared in many independent plays and musical theatre roles in one of the biggest entertainment cities of South America.
After a short time in Los Angeles attending workshops at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Ivanna Chubbuck Studio, Gabriela starred in the International Emmy Nominated series “PSI” by HBO Latin America playing the lead role, Aurora Sampaio.
She now lives in London, where she graduated the post-graduate 1-year Course in Professional Acting from Drama Studio London.
