Amanda Vilanova is a Puerto Rican actor, writer, and translator based in London. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and studied Comparative Literature at the University of Puerto Rico. Her TV credits include the Mallorca Files, FBI International, the web series Retail is Hell, and Hallmark’s Channel’s For Love and Honey.
Her theatre credits include Fox at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Closer at the Vienna English Theatre, Friday Night Love Poem at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and her one-woman-show Hurricane Diaries, a piece that explored the history of her native country and received 4 and 5-star reviews.
She writes fiction and drama in English and Spanish and is interested in bilingualism and the migrant experience. She is a regular contributor to the magazine Writers Mosaic.
