Amanda is a Puerto Rican actor, writer and translator based in London. She holds an MA in Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a BA in Comparative Literature and Acting from the University of Puerto Rico.
She is fully bilingual, moving with ease between English and Spanish. Having lived in New York City and London she has a distinctive transatlantic voice as well as being able to do Standard American and Spanish accents in English and a variety of Latin American accents in Spanish.
Her credits include Fox at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Closer at the Vienna English Theatre and Cymbeline Stay Awake Theatre in NYC, among other work for stage and screen. She wrote and performed her own piece Hurricane Diaries at Blue Elephant Theatre receiving 4 and 5-star reviews. She is a regular contributor to the Puerto Rican theatre magazine Falso Mutis.
