Marta is a multilingual actress and performer who has been part of a wide array of stage productions. These include David Ireland’s “The Hen Night” as Alejandra, Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” as King Polixenes, “Henry V” as Capt. Fluellen, and “All’s Well that Ends Well” as the Fool Lavatch and the Widow. Marta also founded the Starbound Theatre company in 2017 and has starred in their productions “Pizza Man” by Darlene Craviotto (Etcetera), IWMYWYG by Jessica Moss (Hen and Chickens), and The Net by Zoe Guzy-Sprague (Tristan Bates Theatre) . Feature film “House of Bricks” where Marta appeared in the lead role of Millie premièred in LA on June 2019.
Born in Madrid, raised between Spain and Portugal, and educated at a British school, she moved to Glasgow in the fall of 2012 to train at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During her programme she got to study and perform at the Globe Theatre in London. She followed this with some more training at RADA. Marta is now a member of the Actor’s Centre and VOND, and has expanded her work into VO. In the past she has booked work for companies such as BAYER, Konica Minolta, Alkindi, Ubisoft, Remedy Games, Creepy Jar Games, Wispfire and others. She continues to train and network, always looking for opportunities to learn from the very best in the industry – such as BAFTA winner Cissy Jones and producer Randall Ryan.
